kerosene heater in back seat will work good. Just remember to keep the windows rolled up so the window does not get frosted up.

most probably the heater core went out being a 10+ year old car. If you know a mechanic or someone good with cars let them check it out. If it's the heater core check ebay and autozone for reasonable prices on new and used ones.or there's generally the local junk yard.

Get your vacuuum system checked, it may not have enough pressure to pull the valve open to let the coolant to enter the passenger compartment "radiator". Or it may be electrical, as in you flipped the swithc from cool to heat, but nothing happens, no fan blowing the heated air. Good luck.

Is it the heater blower motor or is the heater core ?

If you car is blowing air the your blower motor is working,If it's only blowing cold air could either be your heater core or could be you're a little low on radiator coolant.

Blend door motor is stuck in the cold position, if not, see if the engine reaches operating temperature, if not, change the thermostat.

heat stops working when coolant is low. if coolant is low, check things like your heater core, radiator or water pump. be sure you take it someone who knows what they are doing and not about speculation. that makes repairs costly.
