replace your filter and liquid it may start to get worn out you may want to red liquid not brown you may want to service trans every 25,000 miles check your passing gear cable to see if isn't disconnect hope it assists

Change the tranny liquid and filter. it'll cost like $25.00 $40.00 if you do it yourself use up a little now so you do not pay allot afterward. it is not that hard to do, but if you know nothing about cars I could have someone else do it. The shops like to rip you off.

If you look at the ratios the one st to second on a van is a little rougher. Now if it shakes and does not want tot engage second then that's a whole nuvva levo.
I agree but that a trans service should be on a no more than 35K mile interval, This keeps the tranny happy and it gets hotter pulling that windstar around
