You most likely have broken motor mount

You have a worn/broken motor or trans mount.

When you hit the gas the torque being generated makes the engine turn. The engine is connected to the transmission and the gear shifter is bolted onto the transmission. usually the motor and transmission mounts serve as impact/shock absorbers to keep this motion minimal but as they wear and get saggy they don't work also anymore.

The shifter is connected to the tranny. When you hit the gas, the engine/tranny assembly torques on the rubber engine mounts a bit, enough to pull on the shifter linkage, which moves the shifter a bit. If it gets ',worse',, moves more, better have the engine mounts looked at.

Yep engine mounts. The Integra looks to be particularly hard on engine mounts. We had to replace two of my son',s mounts in his 1994 this year. With broken mounts the whole engine/transmission moves based on the throttle, and so does your shifter.

If the tranny was rebuilt recently then it may be missing a spring washer. From personal experience it'll because this.
