Does anybody now of a inexpensive Super Charger for a Jeep TJ 98 SE, I have been looking and found only one company, he sells an Avenger, he's to costly, I have also invested in one of those Electric one's do not, they do not give you anything, if anybody knows of a company who's selling a kit that’s is not so costly, tell, thanks for any help.

Everyone thinks the four bangers are weak and can not handle the trail. Any jeeper that was on the trail knows a four cylinder can keep up. shortly there are lots of alternatives to get more power. Check out this site dedicated to four cylinder jeeps. there's a ton of information on them.

Not going to get much power out a four cylinder Jeep. Trade it for a Jeep with the 4.0.

Avenger is about the only company that's still around making Jeep Superchargers. Rimmer is not a viable choice and if an Avenger choice is available it's still established upon a centrifugal design which is less than best.

Bang for the buck, supercharging is the only way to get the performance you want out of the four banger, but on the trail it isn't a good choice because these things will attempt to suck dirt into you motor and clog up the air filter causing a lose of horse power and parasitic drag from the super charger.

I have to agree that the best choice for power is to trade the Jeep for one with an inline 6.
