Just a question I am planning to purchase an auto 1991 Skyline GTS four and wondering if it is possibe to max the HP to at least 280. If I keep the original engine but exchange a bigger turbo RB25DET, what is the max HP I can get? Is it worth to do it?

300 bhp
then you don't need that much hp unless you race like every week
cause not a comfy ride for regular use

The sky's the bound with the RB25DET, but the autobox is the limiting factor. Going beyond 300bhp isn't a smart idea with the stock box.

However, you most likely will not have to change the turbo you are only looking for another 50BHP.
