Ok I have two 15" subs,2200watts amp,but my dvd player has one output for the sub.how can I get both subs work
i have sony 15" 1400w each subs and a 2200 watts amp,my dvd player has only output for the sub, when I connect the system, only one sub works caused by the fact that there's only one output, but I have a cable which has two outputs connected from amp to dvd player,my old cd player had two outputs for the subs and both worked, how do I resolve this?there is no adaptor to make the output into two outputs.help,i can show pictures if its easier to understand,i am clueless..

it is called an RCA "Y" cable, but there are two types. If you want to run a PAIRED long cable to the amp typically the case, you want one with a single MALE at one end bottom of the "Y" and two FEMALES on the other ends. This will go behind the radio.

If you run a single RCA to the amp, get the reverse type single FEMALE, dual MALES and plug it in by the amp.

You should check out radioshack if you have one near by. The could be able to tell you exactly what to do

if there's only one output RCA for the sub all you must do is go to any local car stereo shop or Radio shack and get a Y adapter you'll most likely need a female to two male adapter. take the single sub output and plug it in to the female side of the Y adapter then input the other male ends in to the amp that way both channels on the amp get a signal
