Pajero's 4x4 light display keeps blinking?

On my Pajero the display for 4x4 drive keeps blinking. There are times when it turns off but then in a little while starts again. What is causing this problem?

I have taken it 10feet or more back many times but it goes away, then after sometime the blinking starts. on occasion when a bump comes in the road.

Sounds like the move case may not be engaging properly. What you may want to attempt, the next time it's blink, and you're somewhere where you may be able to do this, is to come to a full stop, shift into neutral, then shift into reverse, and back up about ten feet. See if that resets it.

You may have to take it to be serviced.

Also, does it have "shift on the fly" type 4x4, or do you have locking hubs on the front tires?

Sounds like it may be any number of things, from a lose wire to needing to replace the liquid in the differentials, lubricating the 4WD propeller shaft, replacing the oil in the move case.
