I own a South Pacific variant of the Colt, called "Plus", with the 1.5 Litre engine and a CVT transmission. The car runs like a clock, of course, being a Colt, legendary for dependability. I'm blown away by the fuel economy of it I get 5.6L/ 100km., and it drives wonderfully.
By the way, I traded an old S class Mercedes to purchase this. No regrets.

Thick A pillars create dangerous blind spots. I own a '01 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Spyder and the ragtop roof has the same problem. Mitsubishi must not be mindful of that. If you purchase this car just be sure you get a small convex mirror to stick in the corner of your right side mirror to eliminate the blindspot for lane changes Couple dollars @ Walmart . Using it takes some to get used to, but trust me, its a must. Safety is generally number one right? Other than that although, seems an excellent car.
