My brake and abs light keep coming on. I have a 00 Dodge 4X4. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Check the E brake and be sure it is not down. Otherwise, it may just be a sensor that's broken which makes the lights stay on although they do not have to be. I had a couple Dodge cars some years ago, and they both did the same thing. Hope this helps.

Yes, take it in to be looked at. Really it may be so many things, there's nothing you may be able to do yourself.

They've had problems with the "brain" or computer of the ABS system in this. Unfortunately, the only people that can properly diagnose this is the dealership due to scanner software that is needed.

Check to see if you have any burned out bulbs in your brake lights. Also see if the fuse for the brake lights is blown. be sure that your brake liquid level is correct.
