Does the new jetta appear like an old corrolla or is it just me?

i thought the same thing when they 1st came out. the corolla and the new jetta certainly look lots alike. and, luckily, they are both pretty cute.

Yes, as a matter of fact it does.. The back side look much like a new Corolla. that is why I decided not to purchase one. Gonna stick with my '04 model Jetta till they can come out with something a bit more creative.

It does. that's the 1st thing that came to mind when I saw it from behind. that is really a pitty since the last Jetta was such a good looking looked german car.

I never really compared them, but I am happy with my 2002 Jetta TDI. I do not care what Toyota does. I may be purchasing a 2008 Passat TDI when they can start importing diesels again, but the EPA has made their import temporarily forbidden, so I will wait a while
