Can anybody give me sports model Audi that will beat a Mustang and possibly a Corvette?
I'm going foreign on a lot of these cats Stateside. I am taking it to Germany where I am going to live and I am purchasing from there so it will be "ungoverned" the speed on it. nevertheless I am going foreign on that SS. I generally liked Audi's anyway I am looking for a sport variant that is really fast. People who know lots about sportscars help me out here. If I can not beat a Corvette good, but tell me one that can blow away these overrated Mustangs so I can put them to an end on the road. I am trying to wipeout their racing career.

Really it depends on you the driver and your chosen course. Out on the autobahn, an S4 of an A8 could walk away from a Mustang, just purchase sheer top end power, on a road course but the cars are equalized purchase taking the long straights out, my recommendation go with a smaller car with a good aftermarket TT could be good, but for my euro, I'd go with a BMW M3 or 318i, good aftermarket, and proven race history.

Audi TT is your best bet.

S4

The S4 have been replaced with the RS4 which should take care of Mustangs except the new Shelby with ease. and most likely will edge out the standard corvette, but not the Z06. You may change your air intake and exhausts and this should get you close to both of the hi=performance models and maybe the chip but as this is a new model you ll most likely have to wait for a year or so to come out. Also the above is depending on US models, the German models may have more torque and hp besides the higher top end.

Play it safe and get an S6. It has a lambo engine, although a tuned down one. But it is faster than corvette and a mustang

S4, RS4, RS6, any model with a 3.2 or 4.2 can beat a stang. new RS6 comes with a 5.0 litre v10

The Audi new RS4, RS6 or S8 is going to be your best bet in stock format. but, if you're going to change the car you may be able to save money and go with a smaller six engine and turbo it. Of course you may be able to generally change any of the RS models, extreme or moderately, and produce lots of power.

It depends on how much money you're wanting to use up and how far you're wanting to go to. There are so various alternatives available, if I were to list them all you could be reading for at least 40 min..

Sure mustangs and Corvettes are fast but they're just like school in summer time NO CLASS.....their european counterparts like the Audi TT are made of much better material and with better craftsmanship, not to talk about they're much safer, have better trade in value and more reliable.

Depends on your budget. The best bet is to find an 93 or 94 RS2 or a 95,96 S6 or S6+. they are hella fast and may be had for less than 10,000 20,000 USD.

Their performance will dust nearly any mustang read, anything but a saleen and will handle many corvettes. Be aware, the Audi's advantage lies in handling, so they'll take road courses better than the quarter mile. Besides, they'll handle difficult conditions better like rain, wet track, slick spots, etc. Many Mustang street racers, also as Corvette racers simply don't know what they have at their fingertips. Learn one of the Audi RS cars and beat the snot out of them.
