For economy, the Honda Civic.
For comfort, the Honda Accord, four cyl if you want to save money, V six if you like better acceleration and handling.
Both have top notch dependability.
Last February, we replaced a Toyota Corolla LE with a Civic EX Sedan and a Mitsubishi Galant GS with an Accord V six EX. we are pleased with both cars.

Mustang V6 loaded, or Mustang GT plain without any anemities. I'd take the Mustang GT, because you can not beat a V8. But a V6 is still pretty fast.

to learn which are good cars you must look at depreciating and which cars do it the slowest and the answer could be Toyota Honda.. <span title="Lexus..Acura...worst..Volkswagen..Suski">Lexus..Acura...worst... Dodge.

A Nissan Altima 3.5. If you shop carefully you may be able to get a Maxima about 25K.

Toyota prius, camry, Nissan Altima, Chevy Impala, Honda accord, or used maxima. Camry holds its value well. Avoid Dodge Stratus and Chrysler Sebring.

Accord is a great choice, and you'll be able to pick one up for quite a bit under your budget, giving you some extra money to deck it out :-)
