I have a 1979 MERCEDES BENZ 450SL to sell can anybody tell me how how much it's worth? showroom form .?
BLACK PAINT, RED AND BLUE PEARL. six CD CHANGER,HIGH PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM, RED INTERIOR EXCELLANT form, HAVE HARD TOP. GOOD TIRES. TRANSMISSION JUST REBUILT. HAVE PICTURES IF ANYBODY CAN GIVE ME A VALUE.

Probably $8,000 to $12,000, if it's really nice. they are real world prices.

This kind of car is sorta kinda collectible but is not a "hot ticket", so to get a high price is going to take a long, long time, and the value is not going to go up much either.

Why is that? Because the car is heavy on gas and costly to fix, and purchasers know this. The smaller, lighter and to some prettier 280SL is in higher demand, and the afterward 560SL is a much improved variant of your car, and consequently brings a higher price.

This could be a good time to sell a 450SL things are not going to get better.

Take it to the carmax or any dealer for the estimate and add 15% of the estimate price they tell you.here you go, that's the price you want to sell yours.
