What is the gas milage for a 2008 f250 ford truck with a diesel enging 6.4?

should be around 16 mgg joint city and highway. I got a 02 with a 7.3 with a turbo back magnaflow exhaust a k&n air filter and a sct excalibrator and get 22.5 mpg joint. that truck will be awesome when somebody starts making exhaust &programmers for it. if your new to the diesel pickup world go get a diesel power magazine to learn what is new and what is up in the diesel performance world.DIESEL TRUCKS ROCK.

depends upon driving style..etc.

Heard dependable reports of six 18 mpg depending upon how you drived ..if car cleaned the exhaust out at the time etc.

The newer trucks are a different breed with new exhaust using fuel to burn soot etc .. most report that trucks really get better gas mileage after 10k miles but.

Ask the local Ford dealer in your area for local condition reports.. in the south we're seeing about 15MPG average.
