It needs to have meaning behind it or a story. My 89 Firebird "The Reaper" used to have a grim reaper painted on the hood that the last owner had painted on it. although it is repainted the name Reaper just kinda stuck.
Drive it awhile, it will come to you.

Name it the "green hornet". It works on a couple of levels, not least to talk about Ford's 70s coup the hornet. That baby could buzzzzz.

I do not think I could name this car. Now if it was a vet or caddy or a big ol'silverado pick up I could name it.. Now they have an approach. They deserve a name. I drive a Rivera and its a top of the line car and have had it since it was new. I named it Oprah. I love my car and plan on having it for a long time. If you must name your car, maybe call it the green hornet.

People think naming cars is stupid, but it is not.
Boats are named generally, and not only that.. but pepole call them "she" as if it were a real person.
Go ahead and mame your car. do not be embarrased.
