I am trying to save you a lot of money. I have a '95 Nissan Maxima with 190,000 miles on it. These cars have really good transmissions so 1st check the condition of the liquid it should be red. If it isn't, I could propose you get a drop pan service, in which the filter will be changed and a bit more than half the liquid will be changed. This service is typically around $100
I don't propose the flush, I do not trust them. This isn't essentially why your transmission is slipping. it is typically attributed to low liquid level. be sure you do not have a leak and be sure the liquid level is correct.
You can also have some minor slipping caused by loose thin liquid, where the liquid may be red but thin, in which you'll want to have the drop pan service also. If you're unsure how to check the liquid level, get someone who does because for awhile I was unsure of how to check it.
Hope this helps.
