Is this how to wire a remote turn on wire the blue one to my headunit???
i Have a eclipse cd3100 headunit and I have to wire my remote turn on wire which is the thin blue wire from my amp to my headunit but I don't know where to wire this at I'm thinking that I could wire it to my blue wire with a white stripe is what im hearing from people but that wire is hooked with many other wires in a plastic square holding them together and I don't know if I should take it out of there and crimp it with my remote turn on wire or what I should do
help me out please
thanks

You do hook up the the blue with white striped wire but if it's already hooked to another wire I could recommend splicing into the wire instead of cutting the wire. If your car has a factory amp or power antenna and you cut the wire and only hook it to your amp then you may lose sound to the other speakers if your car has a factory amp, of lose your power antenna if equipped. So you have to use a set of wire strippers to slice the insulation off the blue with white stripped wire, splice the amp remote wire into it, solder it and tape it good.

yes.u crimp those together..it should have a lil small tag on it sayin that that is remote wire..an if it doesnt its a lil blue wire with a white stripe.just snip it and crimp it.thats all you gotta do man. See.the remote wire is what tells the amp to cut on. There are other fast fixes to get around doing that but that is the correct way to do it. If you have any other questions just message me man.

I a little perplexed with the question. Look I know that when running that remote wire your suppose to hook it up to the red wire. which is tha accessories wire. so when you car isn't all the way on. Its important to get this right.
