Cant get my amp to power up?

ive hooked everything up but my issue is when I attempt and put in the wires for the power and the ground nothing happens. I know the positive wire is connected to the positive terminal of the battery and the grounding wire goes in between two metal pieces of my car I have been stumped for two days help me

is your remote wire hooked up right. and the ground is on bear metal of the cars body. and are the fuses on the amp good

verify the turn on lead, without this the radio wont signal the a,p to turn on if this is flawed the amp will never turn on, also check all fuses on the system as well as, the one in the power cable near the battery, and the ones in the amplifier

REMOTE most probably.

The remote port on the amp is what gives it the signal that the car is on..

If you didn't wire this then you may be able to get the amp to turn on by taking a small part of wire and connecting one end to the power supply and one end to the remote slot, this will most probably power the amp. If that worked, you have to run the remote wire to the wiring for the deck. If you keep the power supply linked to the remote, it'll remain on and drain your battery, so wire it properly.

Most common error is the remote switch wire. You either need this on a constant on, or a switch. I reccommend a switch for some number of reasons. Also check your ground wire, it doesn't go to the battery, and painted surfaces aren't the greatest.
