my cd player will play cds, but when I turn on the radio, all I hear is humming, what is wrong???

If you say the cd works, then it must be the antenna cable that's loose or unplugged. Remove the unit be sure the antenna cable the thicker of all wires seems a big phono jack is properly attached. Also check the cable connection with the antenna.
