How do you reset the alarm on a 1995 Honda Civic?

It went off the last time we tried to begin the car with the key, of course it is our car . Now, the car will not start and there is a little blinking red light at the end of a wire. Help? We did not know the car had an alarm.

Some will reset by disconnecting battery, if you may be able to find what brand it's you may be able to look it up on the Internet.
