No, it means you like to own a nice, cheap car which does not use lots of gas in comparison to other sedans and SUV's.

Admittedly it isn't the most stylish car on the road, but neither is it the least. Awards for that have to go the the Scion and the Honda Pilot. If you're thinking of either of those slit your wrists now and you may be able to save your heirs the expense of the payments and the rest of us the unpleasant experience of having to look at your ugly car when you're out and about.

But the Corolla is dependable, good on gas, holds its resale, and handles reasonably well to boot. I drive a Jag, which is none of those things, and I frequently look admiringly at those sensible Corolla drivers and think back to when I used to exercise some sense in purchasing cars for just what they're transportation.

I drive a stick shift AE101 1993 1997 chassis type Corolla, and my life is just good. Parts are cheap, it gets good city driving mileage ten kms/liter, it rarely breaks down on me once in a Democrat president winning election year and it gets me to point A to point B. With the apparently perpetual increase of gas prices These days and the domino effect of the increasing prices of almost all products and services caused by that, dependable, comfy and fuel economical transportation is the only thing I have to get to work punctually.
And to think my Corolla is secondhand, I got it in 1999 from a friend of mine who migrated to the USA from here in the Philippines.
Just because I drive a Corolla does not mean that life is cruel to me, my spice export business is doing great, I don’t have problems with my family, my in laws or my workmates, and I still get to take pleasure in a vodka martini shaken, not stirred, with a big lemon peel on the side to get rid of the aftertaste sometimes.

If you ask inane questions, does it mean you don’t have brain? What on earth is your question supposed to mean? It sounds ridiculous.

No it just means you have given up on bad gas mileage and high gas prices.
My 2006 gets 33mpg highway. When I fill up it only costs me 30 35 bucks while majority of people use up more than 50.
