Anyone having problems with their Mazda 6?

Postby Mohawk » Fri Sep 28, 2007 8:03 pm

I have a 2005 Mazda six and have all the strangest little problems but when I take it into the shop they tell me its normal.

I have play in the steering wheel.

Brakes make sounds when turning the wheel hard like into a parking space

Steering wheel is making clicking sounds.

I have never been so unhapy with any car I have ever bought. I could never own another mazda again. I bought it new, but I have wned better cars with over 100,000 miles on them. Namely Toyotas.

Trade it in for a VW. I have a Jetta, and I LOVE it. Great car.

I've got a 2005 Mazda six and I most likely will not be any help to you because I totally LOVE my care. I have also had a Toyota and a Honda and I have to say that the Mazda was the most comfy and quite and powerful. car still. I could contact Mazda directly if your dealership is giving you annoyance. there's no way your car should be doing those things. possibly you got the one bum car on the lot.

It's too bad because I think Mazdas are great cars. Wish I may be more help: good luck.

I could take it to a different dealership than the one you have been taking it to. It sounds like they are not wanting to do any warranty work on the car, and are pushing you out the door so as to not have to deal with you.

What's bad is that this has given you a bad image of Mazda. they are by far the best in general japanese import line offered in the U.S. as of now, seeing as Nissan has gotten behind the times and Toyota and Honda became "frumpy" at best. I am not saying their bad cars, I am saying they just are not as fun to drive as the Mazdas.

Find another dealership, go to them, and if that does not work, contact Mazda Corporate.

And steer clear of the Jettas, unless you completely enjoy driving a car with one electrical problem after another.
