Nothing new was installed so wondered if anybody knew what part needs replaced. on occasion if I hit the blinker switch enough they come back on, till its time to turn or I go over a bump, then they're back off again.

Check for any burned out fuses.I'm sure your local auto parts store will assist you. But from the sound of it you may have loose wire connections, which may prove to be more expensive. Still, maybe the fuse is loose.good luck.

It does indeed sound as although you have a loose connection of some sort. God bless your mechanic in finding it.
