Yeah, but they crazy to fix. Insurance is high. you will most likely get speeding tickets up the waazoo. Its high on theft lists.

yeah I like them.. haha I like mazda rx 7s and nissan skyline r34s too awsome cars... haha I also like 1967 ford mustag shelby gt500s.. the wrx stis are relible and fast. they make great drifting cars aswell as street racers. I could recomend them to nearly each one not that everyone can pay for them, and I think they're great cars. and if you don't want a speedy car and you want to have more space the outback is a GREAT car, my family has one and I just love it. haha

I've owned a Subaru but not the wrx. I loved that car. Bought it new, had it 13 years, never failed a state inspection and I retired it with 190,000 miles. The only reason I did not get another was because I needed something with more room, but did not want a station wagon. My Mom's had two Subaru's and would not drive anything else. they are great cars.

Yes it's a great car but it is not for everyone. it is very fast, dependable, and good at everything as well as bringing the kids to school. But it has a pretty rough noisy ride, may be hard to manage at times putting around on the street and in traffic, goes through tires quickly, and has higher than average insurance.

It is a nice performance car, but for how much it costs, you may be able to get something way faster and something that handles much better. My friend 17 got an STi and his insurance is well over $500 per month. as well, that kind of car you get more attention, particularly from the police. it's a great car, but I would not purchase one for a daily driver, it is more of a weekend fun car than a car that you could enjoy driving the speed bound and commuting to work/school. It was intended as a rally car transformed to street, the ride quality sucks and is not comfy for everyday use.

like 'em? no. love 'em? hecks yeah. noisy ride/go through tires: they come stock with bridgestone potenza re070's which are a race compound tire. drift car: it's possible and was done, but if not done right you may be able to go ahead and say goodbye to your driveshaft/rear diff. awd is a blast in snow/rain/gravel. insurance is a bit costly, but you may be able to get a 06 wrx has the 2.5l engine and build it up to be equal to or better than an sti. 06 sti's have problems with plastic motor mounts, so I favor 04 05. the sti holds its value better than most other cars in its class. they may be a annoyance to work on, but what engine/car isn't? the h4 boxer engine is intended with a lower center of gravity in comparison to i4 engines, which helps balance the weight percentage and also helps with its handling characteristics. there's a big network of subaru fans out there, with tons more experience and knowledge than myself. if you do decide"thing" . if it has an upgraded ecu, turbo, engine internals pistons, con rods, cams, etc do not mess with it. you do not want to purchase someone's problems. exhaust, wheels/tires, suspension. basic screw ons are safe.

Quick car, but man are they UGLY. The epitome of rice. The rear spoiler seems either a goofy clothes hanger or a device for signaling lost aircraft in Japan.

i love this car, the line of the car, the brand is great, and wuaht more you may be able to ask a rally car come on, a rally car.. I like it cos the sound of the turbo when you make a shift, the exhaust, wow is great and of course isn't for everyone, if you have it you drive it perfect, so I keep with this one, then with the evo VIII rally edition, then peugeot 306 I love race cars.
