How can I connect an ipod to the mcintosh stereo in my Subaru Outback VDC?
I have an outback vdc with a factory installed McIntosh stereo. What is the best way to add an ipod adapter while maintaining best sound quality? Any advice on a brand of clip and an stylish means of mounting it inside the car could be useful. Ideally I could like a clip that also serves as a mounting cradle I'd like to avoid having a wire dangling in the car when the ipod isn't hooked up. thanks

You have to go to Radio Shack and get an adapter.

Where do you live? The "I trip" wireless transmitters are quite efficient and convenient if you live in an area that isn't very saturated with people..if you live in a suburban area they seem to pick up too much static. Just an idea..
