The tires the maker puts on their cars at the factory are adequate and hopefully safe for the vehicle's intended and meant use, but are most likely not the complete top of the line high performance tires.

Once you purchase the car, you're free to put on anything you want, but be sure you do not void the new car warranty when you start changing things around.

All manufacturers put low end tires on their vehicles. They just need tires to sell the car. you may be able to generally put high end tires on after you buy the car.

Bad tires are what caused the Ford Explorer fiasco, but I do not believe there is a single mass vehicle maker that puts a high quality tire on their car.

So you could hopefully upgrade through the dealership, then they could make more money.

They do not put "crappy" tires on the vehicles, but,a good all around general non particular use tire. If you have special or extreme use prerequisites then you're free to change to match.

Well it depends what variant you are to get. Is it special edition or your standard ver. of the car. Plus, both manufactures have better tire, but like you said, you must pay more.

The don't put crappy tires on them. It as more then enough for each day drive for the vehical your buy. Sure they don't put all weather. or winter tires. If you get into there top models like the sti or wrx they fit you with a bridgestone re70 wich is a street tired built for the speed not traction. It depends on what you need for what tires you get.

It depends on the model laad. I have a 2002 Subaru WRX Impreza STi and before I put the 20's on the wheels on that where awesome and it handled perfectly. Some times you'll notice with Subarus that they put so much money into certain regions of the car i.e. Boxstewr Engine, Interior, lights etc. and in other regions they don't put as much money. Really it all has to do with the budget of the car or some year model... Subarus are better then Acuras anyway.
