Would a ss camaro hood for a 98 02 camaro fit a 93 97 camaro?
im about to purchase a ss camaro hood for my 93 97 camaro but it came off of a model 98 02 camaro. Is the body style similiar enough to have a fit?

No. You have to change the front bumper cover,fenders, head light assemblies and some brackets underneath. Everything will screw on to your current car although so don't worry about having to change anything structurally. Check out ebay and get a set of fenders, front cover, lights, etc. check out camaroz28.com and do a search in the appearence part theres a whole write up on it there. If I remember right, theres a picture chart too. shows what you have to get, what will work you have and all that.

I believe that the headlights will present an issue, since they're composite on the latter years, the form will change somewhat around the headlights. My advice, part your Camaro beside another and check really close, I would not recommend it.

These guys are right, it will not fit.

The hoods are too different, as they're two different body styles. I own a 1994 and a 1999, so one of each body style, and I can see it clear as day. The contours do not match, the form does not match, and I really do not think the size matches up that well. You could waste too much money trying to make it fit. My suggestion could be to ebay the hood you do not want, and put that money toward one that will fit right. Those hoods are sought after things, so you should not have a problem selling it. I know I am interested in one for my 1999.

no,it wont fit unless you change the whole front end, but I could suggested to check out slp performance parts they have the 96 97 SS hood for your z28 and it'll cost about 400 600 bucks based on which one you want.
