Can I tune my 2006 Honda Accord's 2.4 I vtec to 200 hp just like an 2004 Acura TSX engine?
From what I have read the engines are the same. What could it take to get 200hp from my accord's 2.4 engine. Is it possible without breaking the bank, or am I supposed to just trade my Honda in for the Acura? help, someone who knows cars.. thanks.

My advice could be to trade in your Accord for a V6 accord since it's less than the TSX and much, much faster. But if you really like the TSX engine, you may want to get a TSX. though the K series block is the same, both engines are tuned differently because they're in different cars. To get your Accord's K24 to have the same hp as the TSX's K24, you could pretty much need a motor exchange which could indeed break the bank. But keep in mind there are many other ways to increase hp, as well as simply buying a $20 air filter from a company like K and N which will not void your warrenty .

The TSX has a 200 hp engine.it's slower than the Accord like the man above me said. we own one.my husband drives it and complains it does not go as fast as my RSX S.of course not, it is heavier than my car, less torque and has those stupid Michelin no go tires.I told him not to purchase it, to get the Accord 240 hp, but no.he did not listen so I tell him to shut up, he bought it and now he's to drive it.
So if you want a slower, heavier car than your Accord.go for a TSX.you will not be dissapointed.slow and steady like a ship on the ocean..
