the b18a1 or b18b1 is the LS engine, the b16 is a good engine, they can run forever as long as you keep up on the matenance. If your going for power in a b series, then I propose the jdm b16b out of the civic type r in japan, the b18c1 which is the GSR engine in the USA, or the b18c5 which is the type r engine in america. there's also the jdm variants of the b18c with more power.

It is a good engine yes with lots of possible but what I did with my 1998 Integra LS with the B16A1 engine is that I took a GS R engine, the B18C5, and dropped it in.
