Have a mitsubishi galant, has a bad miss when idling, it dies once its started, any ideas?

It needs a new pick up coil which is in the distributor housing

Had the same problem with my Galant

Try changing the spark plugs, and or leads.

Try searching for a vacuum leak at the intake manifold also.
