Does anybody know what years the ecu's were the same as for a 95 eclipse gs?

really, the ECUs aren't all the same.

From a post on 2GNT.com:
"95 ECUs are totally different from the 96 99s. Different connector, different size, different smog standard, different flash rom, extra pins, missing pins. thedawg"

You have to look for a 95 ECU. attempt car part.com. make sure to identify if it's California or Federal, and Manual or Auto.

I could think the 95 99 models could all be the same ecu as they're all just the same body/engine with the exemption of slight changes in the front and rear bumpers

Get the VIN for your car. Call your local dealer and ask for the part number for your particular car. Also ask for all the old part numbers also. If you're junk yard searching this is your best bet. but, ask your dealer for prices, the prices have all recently dropped on these things.
