Difference between a regular and a light 3/4 ton in the mid 90's 95 gm trucks?
how can I tell if I have a reg 3/4 ton or a light 3/4 ton in my 95 gmc sierra?

You could get the six lug light responsibility 2500 or you could get the eight lug heavy responsibility low gear percentage rear end, better for pulling heavy loads. Also the eight lug has the removable cap on the outside for axle substitute.

you'd most likely want to check out the springs I know chevy used to make a "heavy chevy" which was the heavy responsibility 3/4 ton but I thought they stop making those

a light 3/4 ton 2500 to me is a 1/2 ton 1500 with heavy responsibility springs
