there is a button I can turn on and over. it says "Ect" and "Pwr" on my lexus

It may just be there to "fill the hole". Since dashboards are laid out at the factory to a perscribed pattern, and wiring looms are wired for some power things that you may not have, it can be wired up too, but hooked to nothing.

I have the same thing on my Toyota 4Runner. I pushed it and I did not see any difference. The holders manual says it gives you another increase of power when needed. I guess when you get prepared to pass another car you may be able to push it for more power.

hey guess your an idiot I would not let you fix my lawnmower
the button is linked to the transmission control and changes the shuft points on the transmission th let the engine rev more for power or shift at lower rpm for economy

Most of those "power" buttons just keep the transmission in a lower gear longer so that it upshifts slower and gives you "more power." Unless you GAS IT, you will not notice anything in those modes.

that button changes the shift points and the how quickly the trans switchs gears, PWR is the higher preformance choice..
