95 Ford Mustang 6cyl 3.8L runs rough?

I have been having problems with it when trying to preserve a speed on level surfaces and up a slight incline. The engine starts to sound like it is choking and surges. When it does this I either take my foot off the gas pedal or give it more gas on occasion when I give it more gas it surges worse , and I replaced all the plugs, wires, massflow air intake, fuel pump, fuel filter, and had the fuel injectors flushed front and back. Also when it is wet outside and go through some puddles, it starts to run really hard like it's running on four five cylinders and the A/C blows out wet air and the engine light comes on. I had a mechanic run a diagnostics and only came up with a P1131 code and did not know what it was. I was told that it may be a coil pack. do not know what that's and doing a little looking for one, not sure which one I could need, then came across the ignition coil and now really perplexed on what it may be and tired of spending money to not fix problem. HELP..

may be either water in the gas. if it's you can go to an auto parts store and purchase this stuff called seafoam. it works great. or it may be the egr valve. take it off and check the plunger with a small screw driver, if its clogged take some carb and choke cleaner and spray onto the plunger while you move it up and down. let it dry out a bit, then stick it back on. that could work. my other idea is if you have a cat on it, it may be clogged with carbon. if its clogged take it off and attempt and clean it yourself or just gut the cat. when mine has been clogged it did that and cut off while I goed down the highway.

i hope I helped you out a bit.

That code says that the 02 sensor is detecting a lean mixture. The only thing left in the fuel system that you have not replaced is the fuel pressure regulator. I am going to guess that the regulator is your problem.

ok. may be a coil pack. follow the plug wires away from the plug. they should lead you to the coil pack. your wires will be in two rows of three. or in a straight line, seen em both. if they're ina a circle, good news you have a distributer, not probably but in that case with the faults you discribe, i'd change the cap. also check your motor mounts. and have your injectors flow checked. you can not do that in your back yard, requires speacial equipment

I have seen this problem before. were all the money is spent and the problem still there. It generally is the exhaust not flowing out do to a bad catalytic converter. test pull air cleaner run car about 3miles open the hood and pull throttle to large open if you get exhaust up through the intake then you DO have en exhaust problem
