what was it asking more of?
I don't see the have to go that fast I have done 150ish mph in my RSX and it wasn't fun at all it was scary as hell, when cars shoot by you like nothing and in a second or two are a mear specification in your mirror.

it sounds like your fuel shutoff didn't work, or if It has one my brothers car is a 01 lincoln LS the fuel shuts off at 110. but thts awesome, I bet doin 140 was fun.

Asking for more?...then race that baby of yours. : haha
Just kidding.I guess the only possible answer I can give you.since you do not post enough details to work with.is take it to your nearest Auto Parts and have it checked.
Reasonable answers..

Your fuel shut off most likely did not go on. typically Integra's aren't recognized to go well over 110 unless you got yourself a Type R or maybe a GS R. Maybe take it to your local Acura dealer and they will check out your chip.

when you bought the car, maybe the last owner had changed the settings in the car with a computer to get the max out of the car and different chips may have been installed also. if it was bought from a dealership then there may possibly something else wrong with the computer but I would not be complaining till you break something.

Make your last arrangements before you choose to do this again.

this is why we love acuras/hondas. no your computer isn't broken, acuras don't have a governer like american cars do. I have a gsr and now a rsx and buried the speedomoter at 160 and it still hasnt redlined still.so no your computer is good.honda just trusts you NOT to drive that fast dude.its not safe,
