When I start the car up the idle is high and keeps rising as if I',m feeding it gas. I',ve checked the vacuum lines and they all seem good. could the IAC sticking or going bad because this?

Either a dirty throttle valve or the fuel line is dirty and the engine isn',t to get enough air to gas percentage. If the fuel line is dirty then that means the tank is dirty and will have to be cleaned out and a new fuel pump installed.
