Also, what stylish outside paint color could you favor with this beast? ten feet and 20 feet from the car, is the length of the long wheelbase in comparison to short wheelbase noticeable?

I have a 91', 560 SEL and the difference in the wheel base length is only really obvious if the SE and SEL are sitting side by side. The interior style is classy and still in pretty decent form on most models. Mine is in good condition with only a bit of wear on the tan leather seats.



As for an stylish outside color, black generally looks great on a Merc. Mine is white with chrome fender flares and a chrome grill and stock rims and looks nice. in general, it',s a gorgeous car and will look good in just about anything except candy apple red. Imagine that car in candy apple red. You did it? Ugly, no? .

I like the W126 but I think the "L" variant is a bit too long and uncomfortable.



I think they look nice in nearly any color, and if you paint the gray base pre 1986 they look better.



But a nice silver blue one with silver blue interior, looks timeless.



Of course, I generally thought Mercedes saloons should be silver.



Black looks great to, but its hard to keep clean.
