Need suggestion about a convertable top?

If I change my top without BMW dealer . Do you think it'll give me heard time afterward . Is there anybody change the top before who can advice me how strong the copy top, and I mean does it work perfect

As long as you go to any place reputable that is knows what there doing, no. In other words you may be able to get the top and work done anywhere else besides a BMW dealer. You will not have any problems with it afterward as long as the job is done properly. There are so many body shops out there that do better jobs then the really dealers. Just do a little research on the shops. Good luck.

they sell convertible tops at 1A auto.com I have a 2000 pontiac s unfire convertible. its your car as long as you paid for it. you may change the top to anything or any brand that you want as long as it fits below is their link for convertible tops. hope it assists.

Ask about warranty on the top as far as leakage is worried.

Also, if the rear window is plastic, ask how hard it could be to replace on the window at some point.

If those answers satisfy you, then you may save some money.

I could rather not say what I paid for my rear plastic window substitute on my Z3, but the original was seven years old, so I look at it that way .
