Rotten bus service on public transport..?
Unfortunately the bus driver is the face of the operating company, so he/she gets it in the neck every time the bus is late.
The timings on the routes are wrong. From experience of being a bus driver the timings are done in a car without stopping.
Passengers are the reasons most buses are late. I had a woman get on my bus not an easy access bus ignoring the easy access bus behind me going the same path to the same destination.
I had to wait whilst she folded pushchair, put child on bus, scratched about in handbag for purse, then gave me a £20 note for a 60p fare.
By the time I left the stop, I was 20 minutes late.
