Every twenty minutes, Luxury. We stay in a village in Scotland..there are buses every half hour at school times., then every two hours.and takes nearly an hour and a half to go the 15 miles to the nearest big town as it stops every not many minutes and goes around the houses.and you could think people in a rural setting could need more buses.

It's cheaper to purchase, learn to fly and run a helicopter than travel on public transport in Sheffield. Thank god I drive everywhere. I hate the times I have to get a bus they are never punctually, they are messy and no offence but the people on them are, well, plebby piss stink morons.

lol I live in San Diego now and they assert to have a good bus and trolley system.Alright so a while ago me and my freind waited for the bus to come. Next thing you know..it was suppose to come every 20 mins, but noooo we had to sit on the sidewalk and it came two hours afterward. Also one time on the ride going home the city bus driver got out and smoked a cigrett while the bus load of people waited about ten mins.

Our council and the Government are generally rabbiting on about to get us to use Public transport citing Green issues..Not only is public transport not dependable it stinks, and I could like to drag the Person accountable for this dribble and take them to a Bus stop which they most likely do not notice when they're in the back of the Limo's and let them stand beside a Bus that's churning out thick black smoke like a Chinese Chemical factory. into the air..and get them on board to sniff an variety of lovely aromas.like B.O. and dirty dog and used Tenna Ladies.
That's why I take the Car..

If it's suppose to come every ten minutes & comes every 20 that's good attempt Phoenix . every hour & they miss two or three aday without notifying you. some routes are every half hour. You can not rely on buses there to get you to work . They declared it so they wouldnt be accountable. Phx is absolutly the worst. one day driver made stop on 35 & went to McDonolds & atethey next half hr. bus passed us. haha It cost $1.00 for that.

ok I used to be a bus driver & I did notice this throughout my time.

bus driver stops to let someone with a pram on if they have to fold it etc you can add two mins per person,

bus driver lets a wheel bench on, then parking properly lowering ramp, raising ramp you may be able to add another four mins.

during this time if you're already running late another bus will catch you up.
then because your already running late your controller will tell you to empty passengers on one behind, this takes five ten mins add that on to the amount your already late & you got your 20mins.

I could say the bus services aren't good. There never is a bus coming every Ten minutes. Plus every time when I get home, there are so many school kids on the bus, many of them have bad manners. The longest I waited at a bus stop was 40 minutes. This is because it was there were many school kids on the bus, and the other bus was out of service.

London should improve standards on travel and to be sure it is safe and punctually for everyone, particularly the elderly as I said, some school kids don’t have manners at all.

Hi Petit Chou
You are lucky because you really have a bus service, but to answer your question: there are so many causes for delays as well as the passengers themselves.
Have you noticed that half of them don't have their fares ready?
Traffic delays
Bus faults there's a long list of faults that can happen that require a bus to be taken out of service
to talk about just some.

I live in Burghead, just outside of Elgin and our service is every hour. it's frequently late, most of the drivers are impolite and every year the cost of a return goes up purchase 10p. it's now almost £6.

A couple of weeks ago the bus driver drove right past my friend at a bus stop. He only stopped because another passenger got up and told him.

Last year my little sister was near killed. I got of the bus my mum was behind holding my four year old sisters hand she was just about to step off and the driver shut the doors and started to move away. My sister feel off the bus, my mum was still on the bus in tears. The driver just said sorry and after a complaint we just got a letter saying sorry about any bother. This is STAGECOACH for you.

You should attempt mine if the 7.30 am doesn't turn up, you have got to wait till 10.15 am for the next one. The Local Council who money the services doesn't want to know.
