RX7 rotating series four five 87 91 any good ?

recently take interest in price/shape/performance on these cars. how could they go as daily driven turboed ?

they're great but, before purchasing one be sure that You know a rotating Mechanic. some things that you may want to never do is use synthetic motor oil, another is to begin the car and shut it off now, another is changing the spark plugs at what ever order, the spark plugs have to be changed in a sequence and never use any other spark plugs other than NGK Spark plugs. There are some easy steps in maintenance but, it is well worth it. I still have dreams of my Rx7's till this day and regret selling them. By the way 87 91 are two different engines. The 88 to 91 is a 13b engine which has two rotors. The 87 and lower have a 12a engine which has one rotor. they'll go great as a daily driven car. Trust me. Good Luck..

despite what you read rotating engines ARE dependable IF you change the oil every 2000 miles I read someplace in a rotating forum that someone has a RX seven with 400,000 sumthin miles on it, had the apex seals changed two three times and is still driving it, also go to wikipedia and look it up, the mazda rx seven is a legend car.

Models from 1986 1991 RX seven FC are really good, RWD for drifting and good for performance and are cheap, go to autotrader.com and look for some, they're about four 7K but really worth about three 5K.

The FC3S RX7 is an great value. Look ay the series five cars 89 91 1st. they're going to cost a more but they have had lots of updates in comparison to the S4 cars. They look nicer and more modern too. I have daily driven my 89 TII for nearly three years now. they're pretty dependable except for the wiper and power window switches that died on me a couple times.
