The airbag light came on and it's still under warranty

No there shouldn',t. But different dealerships have different levels of shadiness. Warrantied service is free.that',s the point.

It depends if the diagnosis,was done by the same people or dealer,who cover the warranty.If they did it,no.If another shop did it,yes.

Depends on the warranty you recieved with the car. Read the good print. I',m pretty sure there isn',t a diagnosis charge. Best way to learn is to take it back to where you bought it and ask them.
