 So, for a model year 1999, a porsche 996 is a 911?? |

just want to be sure before buying any accessories that are listed for a 996 instead of 911.

since 1965 Porsche was making 911.
When the body style changes, they use a new number for factory reasons.
So yes the 996 is a 911 but that body style was from 1999 2005.
