and for like the 1st 45 seconds of driving it makes a deafening sound. Its coming from the tires I think. it',s like a houling sound. Is this normal and what is it?

I wish you could supply more details, particularly what you mean by howling.



This is just a guess, but it sounds as if your brake pads may be the culprit. Did you have the brakes serviced inside the last year?



My truck does the same thing. When it rains and I take it out for the start of the day, the aluminum oxide in the new brake pads because a howling sound.

There',s a good chance that it',s the aluminum oxide like Bill said. As for what ken k said, don't listen. with an auto transmission, you may want to certainly use the ebrake while parked, particularly when on a hill. Not doing so puts a big amount of strain on your transmission..
