anyone see that the box to the right is shaded. Then each part has little triangles in each eight section? If you count up each little triangles in each part it could be eight numbers. I do not know about the paper although. Any thoughts?

Well, the numbers you have on your paper map that you were to have gotten from a volvo dealership has eight digits on it.

yes I noticed, but the word serenity can fit in the upper row of the box note how the two agreeing triangles coorispon to the two e's in serenity.

i don't know what to do with the numbers and lines in someplace in the box and the paper any ideas??

where did you get the paper? I found the box but no paper.

i think the serenity idea is good. making that form an "e" could seem right. But how does that turn into numbers?

try reading the codes from top to bottom instead of from entitlement to left.

i ended up with 26437860.. which if you look on map turns out to be the longitude and lat of great bahama island.. so is that a coincidence or do I have it? I just sent it in so I hope I have it.. this game was hell

the symbols are a rouge to distract you. the answer is the day the "box" office opened. 07072006

I have two ideas about the symbols, but I have not figured it out. Its not about winning for me, I am sure some intelligent souls have already figured it out. now its personal.

First, I think the box may be a code that tells you how to crack the cover, a substitution cipher that replaces regular letters with symbols. The symbols remind me of a pigpen or Freemasons cipher, but there are too many possibilities there are 16 triangles in the box with way more than 26 possible mixes, 36 if you count zero nine Serenity may well be a keyword to cracking the code, particularly due to obvious spacing of the "e"s if you apply "serenity" to the 1st row.

Secondly, the series of of symbols on the cover may be a means of decoding the message on the box which may give you some info on how to find the eight numbers.

There may still be time to figure out the code before too many other people do. no doubt lots of people have already entered totally bogus codes, and many more have taken the bogus codes people posted and used them.

This was SOOO hard.
