you are looking at 240 'power horses' bhp then MAX, for that model if you're lucky, if it was tuned, chipped etc then expect a more, but if you want 300+ just get your self a sti model like me get it remapped and shred ya tyres eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

If it has a hood scoop then it's the rs with the 2.5 and if not then it's a 2.2. I have a book that tells me and it says 165bhp and 166lbs of torque for the 2.5. the 2.2 has 142bhp and 149lbs of torque. wrx werent around then. im perplexed is the car a 2000 or 1997. if it's a 97 then they only had the 2.2 then. and the wrx are faster and they came out in 2002 in USA

2.5 = Subaru Impreza RS
2.2 = Subaru Impreza L

I have a 1999 model and from factory it had 215 bhp. But clearly with the mods that will be inceased
