The audio in my car just drops silent after a little while, for no obvious reason.?
Ok, another odd quirk from my great used car the radio wimps out. You turn it on, and it typically performs anywhere from five seconds to 30 minutes, but then the volume just drops to nothing. If I turn on the volume, you may be able to hear it again for maybe another five to 20 seconds, then it drops dead and nothing will revive it, on the side from letting it sit "off" for a day or some number of days . Any ideas on what the problem is?
This is a 95' Cirrus, possibly with the original radio.

Time for a new radio, you may be able to get a decent car radio for about $100, a really nice one for $250.

Maybe an electric component at the radio is not working properly that's why it's like that. You could try to go to a car repair shop, they might be able to fix your car radio
