I own a shop, and think you could attempt a pair of needle nosed pliers to get hold of it, and pull it out with. The silver ring around the outside of the hole may be preyed out of there for more room, but the panel could must be removed to put it back in place since it has ears that bend over to hold it in place. as well, you may be able to attempt an ice pick to get it out with. If this does not work, then drill a hole down the center of the remainder of the handle, and screw a small self tapping sheet metal screw, or wood screw into it, and pull it out with that. It does not matter if you destroy the handle, they do not cost much anyway. If you may be able to get a screw to thread into the handle, it may be used to move it around enough to get it out.
Glad to help, Good Luck.

I'm presuming you do not want to take it to a shop and pay to have it fixed so here is my opinion.
Take off the door panel look online or just start taking off screws on the door And look for a way to pull the lock out.
I know that is not too scientific, but my last two cars were saturns and I installed door speakers in my last one so it's possible to be an amateur and not mess anything up by taking the door panel off. It just takes time.
If you do not want to do that, then take it to someone who knows what they are doing.
