How does this relate to Checks and Balances in the U.S. government.

Very interesting question. Saturn in Libra applies to lots of things about the basics of our government, too..



When either of the houses are over powerful, the whole system is thrown out of kilter, I wonder if the current inequities in the parties are somewhat causing the Saturn like speed in which things get accomplished on Capital Hill.



Also, one could interpret that as a restriction on pairing up with other countries.we do best when we work as a sovereignty and don',t give that sovereignty over to other units, like the UN.



In two months, our leaders are intending to sign a treaty with the UN that will do just that. If this treaty is signs, for the 1st time in our nation',s history, we'll owe our national allegiance to a higher governing body than our own elected officials.
