Thinking of purchasing a 2007 Yukon. could like to know your experiences good & bad with this car.?
I now have a '95 chevy blazer and it is just too small. I have two kids and all the strollers, playards, etc.. they come with. I am opting for the third row seating. Is this truck worth the money? Does it hold it is value? I plan to purchase the car. and have it for some time. major concern is the guts. Does the trani/engine hold up well? Any ideas on the add on's?

the 07 Yukon is a nice SUV. I work at a gm dealership and can tell you the engine and trans. will not give you any problems. with regular oil changes the engine should last well over 200k miles with no trouble. they do now have active fuel management to help with gas mileage. I have personally driven one for a week and got about 22mpg on a 2wd. gmc made a lot of changes and they seem to work well together.

I'm in the same situation, I need the third row seat too. We test drove one and we only went about ten miles and you could litterally see the gas gadge needle drop, but they're better on gas than a ford expidition. Otherwise if you do not mind paying a lot for gas than I could say go for it. they're gerat trucks. And better than a minni van.

the 2007 Yukon is great if you have a big family, or haul a lot but on the fuel mileage side you could pick something better

I believe the Yukon to be a great SUV. More room than your "95" Blazer. The engines and drive trains are excellent in the new GM autos. I just bought an 2006 Avalanche and really do enjoy it. I am to get 19 MPG around town. My great daughter's car seat fits easily in the rear seat. Oh, I also worked at GM for 30 years at the truck factory in Arlington, Texas. we're the tops in quality and workmanship.

Have you seen the gas prices lately???? insanity. Think outside the BOX SUV and go purchase a brick.. that is what we call our Volvo wagon. we get 25 MPG and we drive one of the safest cars on the road. Oh and yes we have two kids, strollers etc. you may be able to get that third row setaing. and speaking of the guts ours runs great we have two . One is a little sick now 117k but the other runs like new 189k . Super dependable and SAFE...

This is a good car, top of the line for GM but to make sure go to JD Powers, look till you find the spot to check reliabilty I think Edmonds has a site like that also.

My father in law just bought one and its OK for a Chevy, GMC same.but the back seat for a full sized person let me say they missed a step there, made for small people only, five full sized adults will fit OK in the front, the back you'll have complaints its to small and no leg room, other wise top heavy and they do flip all the time here where I live but other than that its OK
